Starting off: Dairy.
- Smooth yogurt, or yogurt without a lot of chunks. You could also take chunky yogurt and puree it in a blender to break down the chunks. Also, try the new yogurt in a tube, or cream.
- Various soft cheeses, such as brie, cottage cheese, and thinly sliced Swiss, cheddar, harvarti, etc. (I don't like cheese, lol. So for those like me, turn down for recipes cheese-free).
- Milk-based drinks Smoothies, milkshakes, milk and even tea.
- Custard, and many other sweets that liquids and soft.
- Pudding, cakes and ice-creams.
Grains.- Couscous
- Quinoa
- Pasta
- Noodles
- Soft-cooked rice, risotto
- Farro wheat (cooked very soft like risotto)
- Polenta
- Matzo ballsMeats and Poultry.
- Soft-cooked chicken
- Bar-b-que type soft cooked meat
- Meatloaf
- Chicken salad
- Thinly sliced lunch meats
- Meatballs
- Many meat recipes that you make in a crock pot or pressure cooker are very tender
- Chicken nuggets cut into very small piecesSoups.Fruits.
- Mashed bananas
- Applesauce
- Baked apples
- Fruit juice, juice smoothies (protein powder can be added)
- Other ripe fruits that get mushy
- Sweets. Many doctors say, that sweets are not good for braces, right? Well they're right, but that doesn't mean we can't eat any sweets. There are treats you can try!
- Soft cakes.
- Cream pies.
- Pudding.
- Custard.
- Jell-O.
- Cheesecakes (if heated a bit, to get it mushy).
- Iced tea, or coffee (but not too much caffeine).
- Smoothies, milkshakes.
- Ice-cream (nut-free).
